1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LinkedSignal (linkedsignal.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.

2. Description of Service

LinkedSignal is an AI-powered platform that helps professionals create LinkedIn content, including posts, carousels, comments, and content calendars. The service uses proprietary AI to generate content based on your profile and preferences.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

4.1 Plans

LinkedSignal offers the following plans:

• Free — 5 AI-generated posts per month, carousel watermark
• Basic ($4.99/mo) — 30 posts/month, scheduling, 5 carousels, analytics
• Pro ($9.99/mo) — 100 posts/month, all features, premium AI engine access
• Teams ($24.99/mo) — Coming soon. Pro features + 3 team seats, shared calendar, approvals

4.2 Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selection
• Payments are processed securely via Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record (credit/debit cards, UPI, wallets, net banking, and 20+ other regional payment methods)
• All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted
• Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year at a discounted rate

4.3 Credits

• Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance for AI-generated content
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next month
• Credits reset on the 1st of each billing cycle

4.4 Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period
• No prorated refunds for partial months
• After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LinkedSignal to:

• Generate spam, misleading, or deceptive content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Create content that violates LinkedIn's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Generate hate speech, harassment, or content promoting violence
• Distribute malware, phishing content, or scams
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse the AI generation system
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract our AI prompts or system logic
• Resell or redistribute generated content as a competing service
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the service without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using LinkedSignal, including AI-generated posts, carousels, and comments. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

6.2 AI-Generated Content

• AI-generated content is provided as a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing it
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is unique, accurate, or free of errors
• You are solely responsible for the content you publish on LinkedIn or any other platform
• Free-tier carousels include a "Made with LinkedSignal" watermark

6.3 Our Property

LinkedSignal's software, design, branding, AI prompts, and documentation are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without permission.

7. Disclaimers

• LinkedSignal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service
• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, biases, or factual errors — always review before publishing
• We are not responsible for how LinkedIn or other platforms handle content you publish
• We do not guarantee any specific results (followers, engagement, leads) from using the service

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkedSignal and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
• Content published using our platform that causes harm
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LinkedSignal and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Content you create, publish, or distribute using LinkedSignal
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Third-Party Services

LinkedSignal integrates with third-party services including:

• AI providers — Content generation (proprietary AI engine)
• Supabase — Database and authentication
• Dodo Payments — Payment processing (Merchant of Record, worldwide)
• LinkedIn — Content publishing (auto-publish supported)

These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices or availability.

11. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from the settings page
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days (except as required by law)
• Sections on IP, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of LinkedSignal shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
